We went to Las Vegas in January for a few weeks. It was so much fun. We saw lots of interesting things. We were there when the Monte Carlo burned on the top floor. The picture above is the largest poker set in the world. We love to play Texas Hold'em, so we had to take a picture of it.
This was a mermaid swimming in a tank with over 3000 tropical fish. The girls loved it!!One night while we were out seeing all the pretty lights on the strip, Leesie made a hilarious comment about a stripper billboard. In a disgusted tone, she said, "Mommy, WHY is there a naked lady on that sign with a wedgie?" We all laughed until we turned blue. How do you explain strippers to a 1st grader? hahaha She was also concerned about a guy standing at a street corner screaming sermons about "God and Jesus" and calling everyone sinners. That's not something you see every day back home.

Coca Cola Factory...and the girls on the CC bear.And we took a magic carpet ride through Vegas, via green screen tv technology. It was great fun. Even Maddie got to ride.
Circus Circus was great. The kids had a blast. There were lots of fun things to keep us busy just in the hotel alone. I blew $5 on a slot machine in just a couple minutes and decided I had reached my gambling limit. So brave, aren't I? 
Leesie was star-struck by the Circus Circus trapeze artists when we saw them after the show. She was so excited to get a picture with them. I don't think Maddie really cared much, she was getting very sleepy at this point.
